If you feel that you have typed your ID and password correctly and know that your ID is active for use on LEXIS-NEXIS by Credit Card, then please call our Customer Service department at 1-800-543-6862 for further assistance.

Your LEXIS-NEXIS by Credit Card ID is not the same ID that is used to access traditional LEXIS-NEXIS research. If your ID appears to contain the letter O or L, then you will want to substitute the number 0 (zero) or  1 (one) in its place and try entering your ID a second time.

LexisNexis believes in the highest levels of security for both our customers and our own business. On the Internet, it is no different. LEXIS-NEXIS recognizes that the Internet requires an additional security need above that of our traditional LEXIS-NEXIS services.

Secured Sockets Layer, SSL, is the standard encryption protocol to provide a secure connection. With SSL in place, information is encrypted before it is transmitted between your computer and LEXIS-NEXIS blocking any attempt to observe this information by another party. On most browsers, you are notified as you enter a secured Internet page and as you depart the secured Internet page. It is no different with lexis.com as you can look for this indicator prior and following the transmission of your LEXIS-NEXIS ID, client matter code, and search information.  You should know, however, that SSL encryption may result in slightly slower system performance.
