Browse by Search Term Tutorial - Textual Version.

This tutorial describes how to navigate using search terms, which you can do if you have the Lower Navigation Frame enabled. It begins with Castle Rock Entertainment v Carol Publishing Group (150 F.3d 132) displayed in FULL view.

The Term Browse feature quickly finds occurrences of your search terms in a document. Just select the Next Term button located at the lower right corner of the screen (your browser must support frames to use this feature), to sequentially move to each occurrence of your terms.

When the Next Term button is clicked, the research system scrolls to the first occurrence of a search term in the document. The search term is highlighted in the text.

To move to the next term, just click the Next Term button again. The Previous Term button lets you move back to a term.

You can also move to a specific occurrence of a term by entering its number in the "Terms" text field. You'll find the number there when the term is highlighted. You can also find the number for any term by resting the cursor over it.

With the Term Browse feature, you can move seamlessly from document to document. If you are at the last occurrence of a search term in one document, selecting the Next Term button takes you to the first search term in the next document.

When you find a particularly relevant point in a document, you may want to mark it so you can return to it later. The Term Browse feature makes that easy. Just select the appropriate search term to highlight it. As long as the term is highlighted, you can return to it at any time. So, if you've scrolled past the term and haven't highlighted another one, you can select the (Term) "Go" button to return to the marked term.

That concludes the Browse by Search Term tutorial. Now you can:
