This module presents tips to help you get the most out of your Shepard's ® report. It begins with the Shepard's report for McNeil v Economic Labarotory, Inc. (800 F.2d 111), scrolled to reference "7. Followed by."
You can view the full text of a case by selecting the case name. For example, select the "Duke v. Uniroyal, Inc" link. The case opens at the first reference to the Shepardized ® cite.
Note that you can use the Navigation Bar (if the Lower Navigation Frame is enabled) to move to the next occurrence of the reference. To do that, select the Next Reference button .
Back in the Shepard's report, you can click a point page link to open the citing document at the top of that page.
To see the definition of an analysis phrase, move the cursor over the phrase and select the link that appears. The research system displays a definition box with the phrase you selected. Note that you have easy access to the entire list of analysis phrase definitions from the links at the bottom of the definition box.
You can also quickly display a list of Shepard's Signal ™ definitions by selecting the "Legend" link in the Navigation Bar.
When you are ready, you can print, download, email, or fax the Shepard's report by clicking the "FAST Print..." button at the top of the page.
