Once again, suppose you're interested in learning about copyright law, and specifically about the 'fair use defense' against a claim of infringement.
Lexis ® Search Advisor practice areas correspond to established and emerging practice areas of law. For this example, select the "Copyright Law" link.
Groups of sources are marked with icons labeled "Search within this group of sources", while sources are marked with icons labeled "Search within this source." To continue with this example, select the "Civil Infringement Actions" link, then select the "Defenses" link. Select the "Fair Use" link and finally, select the "General Overview" link.
That takes us to the search screen, where you can formulate a "Terms and Connectors" or "Natural Language" search.
