The LexisNexis^TM Research System

The LexisNexis^TM research system couples the convenience of browser-based access with the power of the LexisNexis^TM services so you can quickly and easily retrieve information that meets your specific research needs. Once you have access, you can use the same LexisNexis^TM databases currently available through our proprietary software. The LexisNexis^TM research system contains easy-to-use, fill-in-the-blank forms for searching a variety of LexisNexis^TM source materials, including caselaw, statutes, secondary sources, and the world's leading news and business sources. You can also use it to access the SHEPARD’S® Citations Service and the Auto-Cite® service.

To use the LexisNexis^TM research system, click the Login Now button on the LexisNexis^TM service's home page, or click Research Login in the top navigation bar of any page in the LexisNexis^TM service. The LexisNexis^TM Sign On form displays, where you will enter your web ID and password. If you do not yet subscribe to this service and want to request access, click the Request Access link below the LexisNexis^TM Sign On form. Fill out the Request Access form or call your LexisNexis^TM Account Representative.

From the Research home page, select a source and submit a search with easy-to-use search templates. You can browse through your search results and use your browser's functions (normally under the File menu) to print or save a copy of documents you want to keep for later use.
